Composing Center:encourage interest and excellence in scholarly writing by all students that are undergraduate

The All-College Writing Contest was made to encourage interest and quality in scholarly writing by all students that are undergraduate at the school. The competition is sponsored because of the Center that is writing and by faculty users from many different procedures.

Pupils whoever documents winnings honors within the All-College Writing Contest make scholastic distinction respected at the customwriting Honors that is appropriate Convocation. Winning essays are posted in Lake Forest’s on the web book, Lake Forest Papers, and the winner gets a cash reward.

1. All Lake Forest College undergraduate students may engage.

2. Expository writing (no fiction or poetry) from any Lake Forest university program.

3. Just one entry per pupil might be submitted.

5. No senior thesis can be granted the All-College writing reward.

6. Documents are judged on quality of prose, utilization of proof, and quality of argument.
